Another convincing performance by the strong british Max ANSTIE in the Grand Prix of Brazil under testing conditions due to the heavy rain falled all night on the circuit. Anstie with a 4th and a 7th place in the two motos was able to take the 6th overall of the GP and consolidated his 5th place in the World Championship MX2 after five events.
Russian Aleksandr TONKOV who was missing these two overseas rounds will likely be back for the GP of France in two weeks time.
“I was worried about these overseas races because we didn’t know the conditions of the tracks and the parameters for the set-up of the bike which for us is in continuos evolution and while in Mexico we experienced a lot of problems in Brazil all went smoothly and Max rode two superb races and comes back now to Europe fifth in the championship, this was our main goal.” commented Team Manager Giacomo Gariboldi.
